i-tri is a community-based empowerment program for middle-school girls. Based in East Hampton, i-tri partners with 12 school districts across Eastern Long Island, training the girls to complete a youth-distance triathlon. Setting a seemingly impossible goal (triathlon) and then completing it empowers the girls to overcome whatever hurdles they might face in their own lives. i-tri is always free of charge to all participants and provides the girls with all of the tools they will need to succeed.
