You are warmly invited to join us for an evening of shopping from local artisans and merchants. With the wonderful variety of vendors, you’re sure to find something special for Mom (and hopefully something for yourself)!
Situated outdoors on the gorgeous veranda at The Starting Gate at GreatHorse, we’ve designed a shopping experience that’s both intimate and spacious. A cash bar will be available, as well as valet parking. Each guest will receive a complimentary tote bag to shop with, plus a portion of our proceeds will be donated to the YWCA.
To ensure a socially safe event, the number of tickets available for shoppers is limited to 150 attendees. We encourage you to reserve tickets as early as possible.

Susan’s handmade pieces are derived from observing nature in all of its forms.
SWIFT RIVER WOOD SHOP
It was their love for food — especially sharing food with loved ones — that inspired Swift River Wood Shop to begin crafting artisan cutting boards. Each board made by hand, one-by-one, at their small shop in rural Western Massachusetts. Natives to the area and founders of Tasteful Skin (all-natural therapeutic skincare) and Tasteful Trips (bespoke culinary retreats), Susan Manoussoff & Jessica Brand share a passion for spreading nourishment and kindness to oneself and to others. About the Venue
Welcome
With its impeccable architecture and a gorgeous view of the valley, The Starting Gate is the perfect space to host an unforgettable event. We’ve chosen to host our Mother’s Day Sip & Shop outside on their spacious veranda with its expansive and breathtaking view of the sunset. Nestled in the center of the space will be a cash bar for you to enjoy some refreshing beverages while you shop (cash and credit card accepted). You’re welcome to explore the grounds and enjoy the GreatHorse gardens.
Parking
Complimentary Valet Parking is available for all guests. As you enter the estate, you’ll pass the Clubhouse on the left and head toward The Starting Gate building. Pull your car around to the main entrance and a valet will be there to greet you.
Event Access
The entrance to the Sip & Shop will be down the driveway toward the veranda. A welcoming table will be set up to process your tickets and give you your free tote bag. Public restrooms are located inside The Starting Gate and accessible via the veranda.
